Long time no post…

I am sorry that I haven’t posted in a couple of days… I have been very busy with the new job and church…

I do have some good posts but I just need to sit down and write them out…

I recently got a new cell phone (1st – Mogul 6800; 2nd (Final) – Palm 755p)…

I recently had 2 friends get the iPhone and they have mixed reviews…

I also started using some new technology like Brightcove.com and YouTube Developer…

I will post more later…

Junioritis

Well sorry this is late but here’s the GACC Drama Video from September 2.

Great job to everyone on this project (Drama, Field Production, and Post-Production Teams) and a special thank-you to Rebecca Phillips for being our “Comedy/Acting Director” for the evening…

Some new news stuff…

Here’s the most up to date technology information:

Who founded Facebook? A new claim emerges. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/01/technology/01facebook.html?_r=1&ref=technology&oref=slogin

My thoughts: What is up with these fellow classmates saying Mark Zuckerburg stole the idea. I think they are just jealous because the company is doing so well. I think if these guys have a true claim then it will be obvious in court but it sounds like they just want a piece of the Facebook pie. I personally think Facebook is the best online social network out there.

No New NBC Shows to be sold by Apple http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/01/technology/01apple.html?ref=technology

My thoughts: Oh no… That means no more SNL, Heroes, or any of my other favorite shows. Come on Apple, settle this dispute please!!! I was just getting ready to download Season 1 of Heroes and hoping that Season 2 would be put up on a constant basis during the season. Apple and NBC need to resolve this issue immediatley.

San Fransico Wi-Fi Fog http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/08/31/san-franciscos-wi-fi-fog/

My thoughts: That just stinks. Earthlink is pulling out of its plan to blanket San Fransico with free Wi-Fi from Google. Now San Fransico is not going to be Wi-Fi free everywhere. After reading that article, I looked into other cities that have tried this in the past and there were a few. Chicago ended up tabling its project due to the amount of money the city would have to invest. I think the idea is great but I do see from a business perspective how they could be costly for the city and the companies.

Teen gets new car and 3 new iPhones for hacking the iPhone

I had heard rumors about this 17 year old (George Hotz) kid hacking the iPhone and making it able to work with any network…

Here’s the new news on the kid: http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/us/AP-ODD-IPhone-Unlocked.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

He’s getting a new Nissan 350Z, 3 new iPhones and got a paid job… All for hacking the iPhone…

Congrats to George Hotz but wow those companies paid some serious $$$ for that phone…

You can also check out Hotz’s blog at http://iphonejtag.blogspot.com/

Stupid Boy – Performed by Pastor Joey

Pastor Joey did this song last weekend…

We worked on getting it uploaded quicker but Google Video has been very weird this week…

So here it is:

I thought this by far one of our best special musics… We did a lot of practice with the Band, Live Video, Lighting, and Media Shout Teams… And it shows!!! Thanks to everyone who helped pull off a great worship service last weekend…

Celebrate along the way… THANK YOU!!!

When I first designed this website, it was just for me. I never really thought it would be so popular. I don’t want to brag but WOW!!! I do think God has truly worked through me and this website. I could never imagine to have over 5000 hits on my blog in just a matter of months.

So today I wanted to say THANK YOU for reading my blog. I really do appreciate those who take the time to check it out. I will post some media related topics later today.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU.

Beta testing for LocateTV.com

 I got an interesting e-mail this morning when I got into the office… Here’s a snippet…

“LocateTV, is a search site which we hope to be the Google of TV and film. It’s a nice and simple, slick site that lets you search for when programmes/films are showing on TV, online and DVD. And it’s constantly updated and region specific, with a host of other features in the pipeline that’ll let you customise it without loosing its essential clarity.

We’re aksing a few TV, film and tech bloggers and enthusiasts to try out the site, newly gone into private beta, so they can give us feedback about what you like, what doesn’t work and suggestions you have for improvements and developments to the site – and I think you could give us an enthusiastic and informed opinion.”

So it looks like LocateTV.com is giving me beta tester access to their newly designed search portal and more… I look forward to checking this out… I will let everyone know how it is very soon…
