I SAY NO, NO, NO to Google Custom Time… I think this is 100% inappropriate…

I can not even believe that Google would come up with this… Are they going to allow their employees to use the feature??? Would be interesting to know…

LCTV – Day 1

WOW!!! Today was great…

We got to see a ton of stuff…

We headed over to the OKC Campus earlier in the day and it was open due to a Children’s Ministry Training. So we took our own tour around and got some great pictures of the children’s wing, auditorium, and lobby areas.

We attended the 5PM service at the OKC Campus. Worship with Stephen Cole was incredible. The message tonight by Chris Spardlin was great.

Then we got to hang out with Terry Storch. He gave us an awesome behind-the-scenes tour of the Live Video/Broadcast area, that was totally awesome. It was sweet to see all the technology and how they run the operations.

Terry also introduced us to Jerry (who is on Directional Leadership Team for LC). Jerry gave us some quick and great insights into multi-site, he’s been around since the beginning. Thanks Jerry for the advice!

Then we had dinner with Terry at Casablanca. Terry had some great things to say to Pastor Kevin and myself. He actually helped me come to the realization on something. Getting the opportunity to hear so great words of encouragement and advice from Terry was great. Thanks Terry for the encouragement and advice!

Lots of stuff to see and do tomorrow. So I’m out for now. Will try and post pictures later.

This is really cool…

I recently recieved an e-mail about one of my photos of downtown Richmond and my picture was chosen to be included in a online map with photos. Check it out here.

Hi Anthony,

I am delighted to let you know that your submitted photo
has been selected for inclusion in the newly released

This story is great and you will really like it. Let me know what you think.

Comcast Profits Up 54%

This is not surprising….

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Comcast Corp., the nation’s largest cable operator, reported a 54 percent increase in fourth-quarter profit on solid revenue gains as customers spent more for cable TV.

In a bow to the desires of agitated shareholders unhappy with its weakened stock price, Comcast also said it will start paying a 6.25-cent quarterly dividend starting at the end of April.

Moreover, the Philadelphia-based company is pledging that by the end of 2009, it will spend the remaining $6.9 billion it has allotted to buy back shares — in a bid to satisfy a growing chorus on Wall Street to step up its repurchases.

Shares jumped more than 7 percent, or $1.28, to $19.09 at the open of trading.

In the fourth quarter, Comcast reported a net income of $602 million, or 20 cents per share, compared with $390 million, or 13 cents, in the same period a year ago.

I know lots of people that have moved off Comcast to Verizon FIOS. I guess their profits are up because they keep raising their prices.

Verizon FIOS is coming….

Finally Verizon FIOS is coming to Richmond Community Church…

They were out here on Monday to run the line from the Verizon drop into our building. Then yesterday they ran the line under the ground underneath Nuckols Road. Today it is all hookup, only one more step until we go live!

I have some pictures that I will upload later…
