LCTV – Day 2

Well Day 1 with the guys from LCTV was great…

We woke up early this morning and met with Brian at 8 AM… He gave us some more insight to LCTV and how they operate…

We saw the 8:30 AM service at Edmond… Trent Austin, Worship Leader, rocked out the house…

Then at 9:30 AM we connected with Brandon Dondaldson, IC Pastor, and his team… We got to see all the behind the scenes stuff with Internet Campus… They have really got it going on for their Internet Campus… We also ran into Terry Storch again and talked with him for a minute…

After that we headed to the South OKC Campus… I really liked this campus… It used to be a Lowe’s style hardware store that they converted into a campus… The P/W team at this campus was awesome… We connected with a lady named Liz and she talked to us about LifeGroups and LifeMissions… She was a great person to talk to since she had been at the church over 10 years…

Overall I felt like the whole trip was great! LifeChurch.tv and their crew was very helpful and resourceful… I look forward to seeing the impact they made on us in our own church… Thanks LifeChurch.tv!!!

Upward!

So the church is going to start a new series in two weeks… It’s called Upward…

We are going to talk about Growing in Faith, Growing in Giving, Growing in Commitment (to Christ), and Growing Spiritually.

So we are also finally looking at the upstairs too… I am really really excited about this because we will finally have our video suites built out… Plus there are tons of other benefits… This project really benefits EVERYONE!!!

We are working on the promo video now… It is going to be very cool and unique…

PDF Resources are available

Hi All,

I recently added a page called PDF Resources… I just wanted to let everyone know that there are resources available in there now… I will keep updating them as often as possible…

Thanks!!

A Review of “Enchanted”

So I went to see Enchanted yesterday with the Phillips Family. I thought the movie was okay. It had it’s ups and downs.

I was very impressed by all the special effects and use of green screening for the movie.

Here’s some other critics reviews.

My Rating:

I think the movie is great for families.

Let me know what you think.

Thanksgiving Feast and Service

Last night was our annual Thanksgiving Feast and Service…

It began with setting up the auditorium into a banquet style room arond 2 PM and that ended right at 5:45 PM…

The food began rolling in around 5:45 PM… And there was a ton… The Turkey, the Ham, the Chicken and all the sides you could imagine…

I however was disappointed that the Mac-n-Cheese was gone by the time I got to the serving tables…

The place was packed with adults, kids, and teens…

The feast was followed by a service which had praise and worship and personal testimonies….

The praise and worship was great… We sang some older songs and of course some newer ones… We also sang a song that we only sing about once a year “The Happy Song”, I particulary like this song because it’s so up beat…

The people’s testimonies were great too… Some people talked about small groups, youth, and other events… Our Senior Pastor gave thanks to our Video Production Team who works behind the scenes and often doesn’t get enough praise… They do an awesome job and definately should be recognized…

Well I’m ready to Thanksgiving… The church is serving on Wednesday night with our normal “Feeding The Homeless” and on Thursday at the “Home Team Grill” for our annual serving to the needy… I look forward to seeing everyone being blessed this week by our church and many others…

A Sunday Morning in my shoes…

Today is my game day… The day for my teams to really work… We work all week long for this one day of the week, Sunday…

Today began like any normal Sunday morning… Woke up, got dressed, and headed to the church… I stopped and got coffee like normal (Thanks Starbucks!)… Then I got to the church… I reviewed some videos for the morning then the problems began…

Why is it on such a perfect Sunday morning do the problems begin? Well we had a number of problems, projector not working, live video stuff messed up, videos begin messing up, and on the list goes… However among all the problems blessings always rise… The problems were solved and then we had an awesome service…

I am so glad that these problems were solved and I love the fact that God blessed our services… The services just flowed… The music was great! The drama came off great! The medias worked and looked good! The message was also really good! Everything just seemed to flow…

Sometimes it amazes even me how among the problems God blesses a service and makes it come across great… Thanks God for making things happen in a great way…
