Another Sunday in the books…

Wow… This weekend was rough…

I was at the church until 2AM Sunday morning finishing up the media that was going to be shown in less than 8 hours…

Church on Sunday morning was great… Pastor Joey was at the Midlothian Campus so it wasn’t as pumped up on the stage but the Worship Team still did a great job…

The Internet Campus had another great weekend… There were about 7-8 people on there steady…

That night I had to work at the YMCA but it was fairly easy because the first 2 games were forfeits…

So I guess it was just another Sunday in the books…

Back to WORK!!!

So today we are back in the full swing of things at the YMCA… Today we begin BASKETBALL Season for youth…

It is going to be a crazy day…

It’s also going to be so cool with all the kids running around and having fun…

I will check back in lata…

MOVE IT! RICHMOND, GLEN ALLEN, POWHATAN, AND EVERYONE!

Today’s the day when you really begin to realize you ate way to much yesterday. Well the YMCA of Greater Richmond has an opportunity for you to work off that extra weight for FREE. Today all the YMCAs in Richmond are open to anyone in the community.

There are all kinds of activites going on all day. You can work out, play in the gym, swim, and all kinds of classes. Check out www.ymcarichmond.org for more information.

It’s been a very long week…

Okay so I knew this week was going be long but WOW!!! I am still working on video projects for tomorrow’s service (waiting on rendering now)…

I have not slept but about 1 hour in the past 24 hours… I ended up being at the church from Friday 10 PM – Saturday 4 AM… That is not to mention the already 40+ hours I have put in before last night and I still got another 2-3 hours tonight…

So I got home at 4:30 AM Saturday morning only to realize I have no clothes to wear… So I begin doing laundry and it took about 2 hours… I did fall sleep twice for about 30 minutes but that’s all the true sleep I have had in the past 24 hours… I then had to work this morning at the YMCA and then back to the church to finish up projects…

I am just wondering why is it that weeks like this happen so often??? Do I need more volunteer staff??? Do my people work effectively??? This week has definately caused me to think about those things… I will be spending some time next week evaluating those questions and more but for now I got to get back to work…

Long time no post…

I am sorry that I haven’t posted in a couple of days… I have been very busy with the new job and church…

I do have some good posts but I just need to sit down and write them out…

I recently got a new cell phone (1st – Mogul 6800; 2nd (Final) – Palm 755p)…

I recently had 2 friends get the iPhone and they have mixed reviews…

I also started using some new technology like Brightcove.com and YouTube Developer…

I will post more later…

School is going and I got a new job!!!

So I have been very busy… School is the full swing of things… I have attended all classes thus far… I am very excited about a few of them because I can use the information right away…

The other exciting news is I have a new job!!! I will be working at the YMCA at as “Youth Sports Commissioner”… Basically my job is attending practices and make sure coaches on aware of the weekend’s schedule… And then on Saturdays I am at the fields making sure all games are going and everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing…

So I am free from Capital One!!! I am sad to leave all the people I know there but very happy that I begin something new… The new job uses a lot more of my skills and leadership capibilities as well…

On a quick side note I have seen that my hits have gone down and that is probably because I haven’t been bloggin constantly enough… I guess I need to figure out a schedule to blog and make sure I keep everyone updated on the newest technology and my life… See ya around!!!
